July 24-28, 2002
July 24th:
Lavatera (a mallow) surrounding the Daylily 'Ponchitta'.
July 25th:
A Hybrid tea rose, Double Delight. This poor thing had
been mown down by Mike, but survived to put out one bloom last year!
A single bloom of the grape leafed anemone. I can almost
remember the cultivar name.
I can't recommend this Daylily enough. Gorgeous color.
Stems as thick as my thumb, myriad blooms. Tall and stands up by itself!
This icey blue Delphinium after a rain is just beautiful.
July 28th:
A recent cultivar of cascading petunias called Supertunias.
Wonderful in a basket on the deck.
